For our wedding ceremony, I asked my good friend Joshua Dumas if he’d be able to play some music. Since he lives in Chicago and the wedding was on a Friday, it was going to be difficult to get even one other musician to come out to Ann Arbor to play with him. So we decided to have him record the music beforehand, with his band the Notes & Scratches. I’m glad it worked out this way, because now we have these really beautiful recordings we can listen to any time we like.
